Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and certified Integrative Psychiatry Professional, I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply personal commitment to the patients I serve. My training spans inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, giving me a broad foundation for treating a wide range of mental health conditions. For patients who prefer a more holistic path, I also offer complementary therapies that incorporate nature's plants as supplements and nutritional therapy alongside conventional psychiatric care.
I believe that medication management and therapy are most effective when delivered within a relationship built on trust, respect, and genuine curiosity about each person's story. I take time to listen — not just to symptoms, but to the whole person. With each visit, we will have the opportunity to discover what is working, discuss new or ongoing concerns, or enjoy the outcomes of your success in feeling each stage of the healing and renewal process.
My approach integrates evidence-based psychiatric care with a warm, collaborative style. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, treatment resistance, substance or alcohol use, or a more complex condition, I'm here to walk alongside you toward lasting wellness.

Therapeia Psychiatry and Counseling PLLC is growing! We are excited to welcome a service line to include Biblical Counseling, bringing expanded capacity and a shared commitment to compassionate, and faith-based care. As co-owner of Therapeia Psychiatry and Counseling PLLC, Mr. Dunnam is fully truly passionate about offering this service. He believes that doing so can reach those who are not able to access this important and necessary lifeline and connect on a deeper level with their faith and how Christ works to center them. Mr. Dunnam can offer this as a telehealth service across Texas — ensuring more patients can access the support they need and deserve without long wait times.
